‘What‘s gone, is gone’ is a collective exercise in letting go. The participatory, theatrical festival is based on texts that emerged during conversations between subbotnik and citizens of Mülheim: What stands in the way of urban society coming together? Which spaces in the city need to be rethought? What would you have to free yourself from? What should the city free itself from? What can go?
Some of the sometimes provocative answers are brought to life by the theatre choir of the Petrikirche, citizens of this city. The choir thus becomes the voice of the city while we sit together and celebrate letting go!
A co-production of subbotnik with Theater an der Ruhr. Created in collaboration with the theatre choir of the Petrikirche.
Supported by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
